Just recently, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency had just told the public to not consume, sell, or distribute Sherwood brand milk chocolate Pirate Coins, imported from China, recalled for containing an additive called melamine. Melamine is a chemical additive in milk products used in developing nations to create false results in protein tests. The use of melamine is prohibited in Canada, because tests show it caused urinary system damage, including kidney and bladder damage, which in large doses, causes intoxication and death.
